2020 CMS Pathways Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations to Asteria!

Asteria stood out from a well-qualified list of applicants and clinched the 2020 C. Mack Solutions Pathways Scholarship! In her outstanding interview, her diligence, strong work ethic, and ability to overcome obstacles came shining through.

The inaugural CMS Pathways Scholarship was created to help launch the collegiate career of a James Madison High School senior. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must plan to attend either a two or four year college and provide a personal essay, recommendation letter, and a completed application detailing their school involvements, languages skills, and work experiences. Current or past students of the ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) program were given preference as applicants.

The $2500 scholarship earned by Asteria will help her attend Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia, where she intends to pursue a degree in nursing. CMS could not be more excited to help Asteria follow her dreams!
